Re: Horrible die-off rash--help!!!
Hi there. I went thru a similiar episode. I took the diflucan and 1 month later had a bad case of hives all over. My liver enzymes went up etc. I followed up with a dermatologist, naturepaths, doctors, etc...they couldn't find the cause of the hives. They did assume the diflucan did affect my liver and that dieoff might of been too extreme for my already overburdened endocrine system to handle. I did learn that my adrenals were overstressed to the point of stage 7 adrenal insufficiency , thru an ASI test, and that I had maxed out my cortisol. Cortisol is the body's natural anti-inflammatory. When I addressed that, the hives went away. I had them for almost 9 months. Drink some sea salt, about 1tsp in a glass of water. Sea Salt is a natural anti inflammatory. It will give you some relief from the hives within 20 or so minutes. I too tried all the candida diet protocal, & products. It wasn't enough. I had to address the adrenals. Your symptoms of exhaustion, lack of sleep, digestion, are related to both candida and adrenals. When the adrenals aren't functioning properly, one tends to become overrun with candidia etc...and also gut issues. Research adrenals. Check out www.Stopthethyroidmadness.com
I hope you get better. I am on cortef, 5 milligrams 2 x's a day and adrenal glandular support, herbs, and b complex, vit c, vit d, a & e. I also take probiotics. People now tell me my skin looks great. I also do not get sun allergy, or allergies like I use to so far and candida has backed off....so I think for me it was the adrenals, which I had overlooked for years. It's hard to find a savvy doctor familiar with adrenal issues...but they are out there....keep looking till you find one that helps you. Don't waste your time with anyone who doesn't check on them for you with the ASI test etc.
