If you ever noticed...,

the character and "tone" of the text of Christian scripture is not so straightforward. It is not written to be readily understood by "John Q. Public" (the average man on the street that will simply have no reverence or appreciation for where they came from and simply doesn't know the meaning of respect for other people). Christian scripture is not "anecdotal" (telling nice little stories) or arguementative (trying to convince), it is not subjective (for our agreement). It contains no flattery or "affirmation", it is objective and cuts deep into the heart of those courageous enough to be sincere. It strikes the conscience of the sincere (this is the qualification to understand it). Your word of Serah doesn't do that, it could be understood by a 5 year old learning to read. Christian scripture requires thought and introspection.

The word of God pierces even to the division between the soul of a person and their spirit (Hebrews 4:12). The bible is like a spiritual mirror, it shows us what we really are (those of weak character will resist it's truth and find a more comfortable alternative).

Because I speak of courage, many might think that "I" am arrogant, but...speaking of "The Great One", The Master of the universe, how could I not "express" arrogance?
