I need help coping with chronic stress.

I do not like my job AT ALL, and my boss (who is also the business owner – it’s a small company) is high-strung, high-maintenance, and a micromanager.
I can’t quit now because I’m also going to school in the evenings, which means I need the flexibility that my current job allows me (the ONE perk of being here). I’m studying to become a massage therapist and hope to complete the program by next summer. So I really just need to find a way to make peace with my present situation for another year at most. But it is NOT EASY.

A bit about me: I’m in my early 30’s, healthy (eat well and exercise regularly, am not overweight, nor do I have any medical conditions). But I am worried about what the constant stress will do to me in the long haul (if it hasn’t already started to take its toll.) I do tend to suffer from digestion issues now and then (occasional constipation).

I know my job is eating away at me and I’m afraid the way it effects my mood is spilling over into other areas of my life. (such as a decreased sex drive.) So far, my husband hasn’t seemed to be upset by this (which is at once a relief and worrisome), but it weighs on MY mind. And like any seasoned stress sufferer knows, worrying becomes a vicious cycle.

I just want to feel happy and glad to be alive, rather than wishing away the hours between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. It’s wrong to live this way, not to mention depressing.

Please – any tips and/or advice on coping with stress AND reviving my libido would be much appreciated. (For the latter, I’ve tried maca and didn’t really notice a difference.)
