Re: Acid/Alkaline Theory of Disease Is Nonsense?

The A/A theory has merit but IMO it's the tail wagging the dog.. what the body requires are 1) proper eliminations (to completely and cyclically remove the acidic waste), and 2) proper assimilations, to sufficiently break down the protein, minerals and other nutritional content of the food, preferably GOOD nutrient-dense foods. Achieve those two goals and the body should be able to correct the pH on its own thru its pH buffering systems. For instance if someone has built-up waste lining the intestine, or conditions leading to sluggish colon function, fermentation and rot will take place creating great acidification and until these conditions are removed, taking any other action, even superdosing on minerals, will be futile... FIX the eliminations, FIX the digestion (assimilation)- the body innately knows how to balance itself when free of constraints.
