Rating Messages: R, RR, RRR, ~RN, RN, ~BSA, BSA
This message is posted across all
CureZone Forums , and will stay visible across all forums for about 24 hours. After that, you will be able to find it inside
Webmaster forum.
Until today, we have had 3 levels of recommended messages:
R = recommended message
RN = message recommended for CureZone newsletter
BSA =
bright star award , the highest award any message can get
Today, with 4 new ratings, we have 7 different levels :
R = recommended message
RR = double R = double recommended message (much higher level then R)
RRR = triple R = triple recommended message (much higher level then RR)
~RN = Suggested for RN = Message suggested for inclusion into CureZone newsletter
~BSA = Suggested for
BSA = Message suggested for inclusion into
BSA list (may become the highest level)
RN = message will be, or has been published in CureZone newsletter
BSA =
bright star award , the highest award any message can get
Here is the
BSA list:
//www.curezone.org/forums/s.asp?f=762&ob=d&c=8
(P.S. some of the messages on this list will be removed from the list and will be marked with RR, RRR or RN)
Here is the RN list:
//www.curezone.org/forums/s.asp?f=762&ob=d&c=7
(P.S. some of the messages on this list will be removed from the list and will be marked with R, RR or RRR)
Why new ratings?
Cause moderators (including me) have problems differentiating between different R messages ... and in order to highlight a message, I and other moderators would mark it with "RN", or "BSA", but, in realty, the message may never be published in Newsletter or may not be so good to really deserve inclusion into the "BSA" list.
The "BSA" list should be a single page list containing the best of the best.
Only one out of 1000 messages marked with R deserve to be included into the list.
So, from today, moderators can use 3 levels of R:
R, RR and RRR, to differentiate between different levels of recommended.
All moderators have access to all three R buttons.
All moderators have access to ~RN button.
What messages should be marked with ~RN?
~RN is generally for the best personal stories. Success stories in general.
~RN can also be assigned to an informative article, video, audio or similar.
Read curezone newsletter to understand what kind of messages end-up there.
~RN is only a suggestion for inclusion into Newsletter.
Only one person on whole CureZone will have access to "RN" button.
That person will read all "~RN" and possibly all RRR messages and will then decide which one of those will be marked with "RN", and which one of these will be marked with "RRR" or "RR" or "R" or even "BSA".
~BSA is only a suggestion for BSA.
Only one person will have access to the "BSA" button. That person will read all ~BSA messages and will then decide which one of those will be marked with BSA, if any, and which one of these will be marked with RN, RRR or RR.
Any message marked with R,RR, RRR, RN or BSA looses it's Alert buttons.
(If a moderator already assigned R, RN or BSA to a message, it means moderators are aware of that message, no need to expose Alert buttons on it.)
What messages should be marked with ~BSA?
One out of 200 RN messages deserves ~BSA.
Best personal stories, best videos, best audios, best articles.
~BSA can also be given to a first message in an exceptional thread ... a thread that contains many RN, R or BSA messages, if ever you find similar thread.
That way, it is more an award for a whole thread, then it is an award for a single message. It could be smart to add that explanation into the message body, like, for example: [Moderator Comment: This message was awarded ~BSA because of the great value of the Entire Thread, not just because of the value of this single message].
Sometimes, I would assign "BSA" to a thread that contains more then 100 messages.
Large threads may contain up to 20 great messages.
Example (messages with more then 100 replies):
//www.curezone.org/forums/s.asp?f=762&ob=r&c=1
Whenever there is a disagreement between moderators (if ever), the rule to solve is "minimum action". (minimum action means no moderation action, or lower action of 2 elected.
R is lower then RR
RR is lower then RRR
RRR is equal or sometimes lower then ~RN
~RN and RRR are lower then ~BSA
Moderators do not have access to "RN" or "BSA" buttons anymore.
One single person will get those buttons in the future.
