Re: confused about "cures"!
I personally did take steroids on skin until they stopped working. I went on google and found articles about diet and
Psoriasis (which can also be applied to exzema). Toxins are what your liver and kidneys get rid of. Stuff they put in food you can't digest, mercury in fish, etc, etc. Its not some made up think, but accepted by medical. What is not accepted by derms is the theory that the skin and lungs are backups for removing toxins when the liver and kidneys are at their limit.
Why don't drs. agree? No idea. I have found in general, drs only believe what they were taught in school and have a hard time thinking outside the box. Read the first few paragraphs of this article...

Its now accepted that germs cause stomach cancer but it took a clear test,,,and then 8 years for drs to accept.
Anyways, you don't have to philosophically determine whether or not it works. Try the diet for a little bit and see what happens. You can read more about it on Pagano's book "Healing
Psoriasis Naturally" (applies to excema also). THe basic idea is eliminate nightshades - tomato, potato, peppers, and a few more, red meat, and very processed foods like white rice and white bread.
