There is a fundamental difference between treatment---keeping the disease at bay and cure--completely eliminating the presence of disease and the need for treatment of any kind. There is no cure for SD. Those who have eliminated the symptoms have done so via dietary or topical treatment, period. It's a bummmer, but it's reality.
The question as to why doctors don't tell patients about the *treatment* alternatives to steroid creams and other harmful drugs is one more people should ask. The medical system at large is myopic, resistant to real progress. Doctor's offices are often covered with posters advertising drugs and vaccines... Who's going to treat them to dinner for putting up an apple cider vinegar poster? Doctors got to be where they are by being the best students. Think about it: Do the best students question or challenge? Heck to the no. They keep their noses in thier books and out of trouble.
