Just curious what your take is on how this event turned out?

I did not become aware of this event until the day before, and this was by way of stumbling onto an article that was advising people exercise a little caution to think / consider a little more about the potential for what they might be contributing to. The point made in that article seemed a reasonable one, that there may have just as easily been (operative words) malevolent forces involved with this in addition to whatever benevolent forces were involved.
