Raw is not for everyone, and yet so many *fanatics* think that this is the only healing diet. I cant stand to read when someone says that meat is bad for us, that it is fermenting in the gut and being toxic and god knows what. What is even worse is those "experts" that say that our digestive system is specially designed to digest raw veggies and not meat since our intestines are long. The cow has four stomaches to properly digest grass, we have one. Our teeth are designed to eat a bland diet.
Vatas can not handle a raw diet very good, the bast way for us the get raw foods is fermented raw food (saurkraut etc) or vegetable juices or the occasional green salad.
Ayurveda is the bomb, I agree it is very accurate :)
