Re: Use of Mag07 & low Vit D count

You have touched on one of my pet peeves about so many colon cleansing products. That is how they recommend they can safely be used for long periods of time. The oxygen/magnesium products say to continue smaller doses for maintanence; some of those who market stimulant herbal mixtures say their product is "food" and can be taken daily, the same is true for the high fiber cleanses.

I am a strong believer in colon cleansing and good bowel management. However, I also strongly believe our goal should always be a colon the functions properly without any kind of stimulant or flushing action. Whether or not a product is considered natural, it should never be used for long periods of time. The keys to good colon health are a healthy high fiber diet, a strong digestive system, pure water and usually some form of exercise. An extremely or chronically constipated person can benefit from various cleanses including colon, liver and parasite. However the end result should be natural bowel function without needing to rely on antyhing else.

As for the vitamin D, take supplements as directed by your health care professional, and make an effort to get some sunshine everyday, morning and evening are safer than mid day. The best way to oxygenate your body is through deep breathing. Get your minerals from veggies and fruits whenever possible, plant minerals are the most bioavailable.
