*** Iodine & emotional health

i was very lucky. i stumbled across a Master. he had told me many things... he is now not on this earth but he continues to help me find who i am.

his way was to combine therapies with meditation. all kinds of therapies, mostly cathartic. i was once told, "unless you kill your mother and your father, you will never be able to fly into the Beyond..."

of course, this was implied to mean the psychological mother and father...

without going into it, i can say that i was stuck terribly with my father in my throat. i had great difficulty in speaking to anyone and everyone. people use to call me shy. but it came from an incident that occurred when i was just 6 years old... a few sessions with a kinesiologist in india had helped me establish the age when an event had occurred that had affected me greatly...it was then a simply matter to go back and remember what had happened in my life during the time when i was 6 years old. it was so obvious when i saw it... it of course involved my father...

in short, i was afraid to be myself... in other words, i really did not love myself... and you have to start with yourself before you can even consider loving someone else... and loving others... its the very first step, and if you miss the first, then every step taken afterwards will lead you further and further away from yourself... more and more into being lost...

i was fortunate, i did a tremendous amount of cathartic therapy [for several years on and off] together with meditation. dreams also came to me through this form of therapy...i know that this kind of therapy worked tremendously for me... i am a completely different individual than i was. i remember, in particular coming back to the states after 2 1/2 years in india, i began working again... i soon realized that not only was i able to converse with people much more easily, but i could also hear what others said with much more clarity. i could even understand when people were not speaking the truth to me. its like i was able to read between-the-lines. a much improved intuiton. its like there was a cloud of emotion that was removed allowing the left and right sides of the brain to function together for the first time. I was awestruck with this revelation.

i can see from the posts that Iodine is doing a very similar thing to many people here. i can only imagine if Iodine were to be combined with cathartic therapy + meditation there would be truly remarkable results coming from this combination for those suffering from mental and physical problems tied to past emotional [childhood] traumas... all helping many to truly relax into who they are...

i have heard when all the chakras up to the 5th are functioning in harmony, the individual is unable to lie. more so, everything that is uttered becomes Truth.

i don't like to quote other people, but i like what Socrates had once said "be careful with the words you choose..."
