Same problem here. I came to the conclusion as long I did not take the first bite during the day I could hold off till 3 pm.
Found the Warrior diet (forum). Just talked to myself in daytime and said you are not hungry. This was just a start. Never in my life I had been able to do this.
From there I ended up on the metabolic forum. Did the test (Dr.Kelley's), Mercola talks about it too, and realized I had to get back to protein and cut out the "health" foods like too much fruit and grain.
I eat now lunch, protein and do food combining.
In the olden days I never could buy a bunch of bananas (just 1) because I would eat the whole bunch. Now I don't buy them at all, have 1 apple instead. Yes you can overeat on good food too.
Still have the problem when we go out, of course the food you eat then is addictive with all the bad stuff in it, but we try to eat mainly at home and limit going out.
