Hi there Just thought I would add my 2 cents. I have been seeing an electrologist for 2+years. I have facial hair that was very stubborn and I had it lasered after I had been to her for 1 yr. It made my hair grow in stronger and darker..yuck! I went through 2 electrologists before I found her. I am just going back occasionally for stray hairs here and there...some are stress related and hormonal...just had a baby. Keep searching until you find a good one and usually you can tell by a few sessions and keep in mind that the consultation should be free. I have hair free under arms and legs as she was soo good. I just wanted to tell you to never ever wax as that would just cancel out what work has been done if not make the hair root stronger! This is the opposite of what you want. I would say that this electrologist you went to was not trained properly as she should never have told you this. Adk if there course had 600 or more training hours as this is the minimum you want them to have practice. Keep looking till you find the right one and it will be a dream come true as it was for me.
