I do not have any advice, you have recieved some very good advice so far from others which I would only be repeating what they said.

However, I just wanted to say that I am sorry that your having to deal with this situation. You seem to be ahead of the curve by recognizing how wrong it is and also seem to be strong enough not to just blindly accept a situation that will impact the rest of your life based on someone elses wishes. For that you are one step closer to your solution and I wish you the best.
