Youre welcome. I dont know if mercury is the root cause of your problems, it could well be, but it is highly on the cards it maybe a contributing factor at least.
Hal Huggins book is excellent, I have it here too and his dietry suggestions are definitely worth doing. He mentions how important it is to avoid sugar, caffeine, milk, etc and to concentrate on proteins and fats like butter in order to help protect against the mercury plus help heal from it.
For me I have to go much further and avoid fruit and grains and high carb veges like potatoes, beans and corn becuase they make me worse. They feed the yeast in the body. yeast can overgrow in the presence of mercury and other toxicity and also becuase the immune system can no longer fight as hard to hold it in check. So diet for me is essential.
Andrew Cutler's book (amalgam illness, Diagnosis and Treatment) is another one I have and yeah you'd do owning a copy of this. It's probably one of the best books on the subject of mercury and chelation that I have read and his advice works!!
I hope that if you do get the rest of your
Amalgams out, you'll recover from your health issues or at least improve from them. Getting an
Amalgam out by a regular dentist may well have exposed you to the mercury during removal, which maybe why you got worse. Hard to say. But again, the body can be injured by mercury and not just
Amalgam removal, chelation, but being on a very good diet is also helpful as your body will need help to recover from this and proper diet and fats will help you heal also and aid the detox process.
Supplements can help too. Andy recommends some main ones in his book that he feels are a wise idea to take for anybody toxic. General ones I hear about are vitamin C, vitamin E, B complex, milk thistle, magnesium, zinc, calcium. But some people who are very toxic can find themselves having issues with some supplements and being quite intolerant, so it can be difficult to find ones you are suitable with.
