Re: Dentist tested my amalgams for mercury vapour today.
Hi y/w. I dont think everybody gets the after-effects... I know that there are people who get
Amalgams removed and almost improve from then on, some almost miraculously. But for me and and a number of other people I come across it seems
Amalgam removal does not always result in some kind of miracle, but rather a journey of ongoing roller coaster rides of detoxing and having ones patience tested to the limit many times.
It is never predictable how a person is going to respond to
Amalgam removal alone. If youve had them for long enough and gotten ill from then, you will no doubt have quite a storage of it, which at some point will need to come out. usually it starts to erupt on its own sometime down the track after
Amalgams are gone. it's odd, but once the body recognises that its no longer having to store a daily intake of mercury it will attempt to dump its storage.
I find it interesting that it occurs. Andrew Cutler (biochemist) speaks about it in his book. THe second phase of suffering and says it's common that it hits people about 6 months or so after last
Amalgam removal. This is why some people may even feel good right after amalgam removal (or cured almost) and then become quite devastated if they get hit by this second phase of suffering later down the track and wonder what happened. No, it definitely does not happen to everybody! I'm on a few mercury forums and hear some never got it at all and some do and ask 'what is happening to me"? They say things like "I was getting better, I thought I was cured and now all my symptoms are back" and it's awful because you know that it's like being repoisoned all over again. But rather it's the body starting to shift the storage out.
That's why it's good to get chelating the mercury as soon as one can so you get on with reducing the load, but at a rate you can tolerate and not to the point of making yourself unnecessarily worse in the process. It's very easy to feel much worse during that and hard to control. Like with myself, I used many different things to detox mercury and I would try and take the recommended amount and I could not tolerate it. I would just about go insane from the symptoms and finally I stopped and took only as much as I decided to use and go from there. Often I had to stop and break and try again. So it was frustrating to me.
I found Andrew Cutler's protocol the best in the end and the most effective and tolerated.
