In part, I agree with you. Regardless of local faults or genetic predisposition for cancer to have an easier pathway to gaining a foothold, I actually do believe that ALL cancers would be preventable it one has proper diet nutrition, lifestyle and supplementation, removes and avoid toxins to the greatest extent possible. The only possible exceptions would be exposure to a toxin so deadly that it could not be defeated or exposure to significant radiation, both of which would be avoidable if not for mistakes caused by man. If such a viewpoint is irresponsible, then I plead guilty because I have seen nothing to indicate that such a viewpoint is wrong.

I completely agree that there is no lack of charlatans in natural and alternative healing and remedies - you can find some of them here on these forums. As long as their is greed and avarice, you will find no lack of quackery inside and outside mainstream medicine. Some say mainstream medicine has more inside than exist outside it - see my post on Doctors Quotes for examples.

I am aware of over 350 "natural cures" or remedies that are claimed to be effective for cancer - a number that can be overwhelming to someone searching for answers outside mainstream medicine. I am impressed with only a relative handful and what I am endeavoring to do in my current major book project is to combine what we know, or are pretty sure we know, about cancer with what we know, or are pretty sure we know about how to address each issue and combine that into a single protocol that would give one the best chance of naturally beating and avoiding cancer. There will surely have to be some variances for certain different cancers and unique circumstances, but the protocol will be quite cohesive and relatively short, while the research material and supporting information will be lenghty.

I do not expect to complete the project for a good year, because my name is not one I want added to the role of charlatans that are indeed out there - and so I will attempt to meticulously examine and research every area and item that goes in the book. As with my first book, regardless of testimonials if there are legitimate questions I cannot find satisfactory answers for about anything - it does not make the book.
