Selling DCA is Just Wrong!

Since when is a drug that has side effects "safe"?

I would not rush to buy anything so unproven outside of test tubes and rat studies that has proven side effects!

Nor would I have but scant hope that it will ever be useful.

Three points:

First of all this is still just another drug that treats symptoms instead of underlying causes. How many more of those do we need?

Second, how many times have we heard over the past 50 years that some breakthrough new drug has been discovered, that a new cure appears just around the corner? What are they now, about 0 for 1000?

and third, according to a source of mine who is the president of a Biotech Company that researches cancer and has one of the best known MD Anderson research scientists as it's chief scientific advisor, the entire premise of DCA runs counter to their own studies on mitochondria. In his words:

"DCA is DOA"

I frankly am aghast that someone has already jumped on the bandwagon and is selling this stuff! With an add that reads"

"DCA was the chemical used to dramatically shrink human cancer tumors grown in rats by the University of Alberta research team of Doctors Michelakis and Archer."

That is just wrong!
