Yes, I believe the common denominator between machines and biological organisms is that when taken down to basics, it is all about getting the right amount of electrical current, so these things can use the electrical source in anything, but their union with biological organisms have made it imperative for survival to have the electrical current generated by a biologic organism rather than a machine's. However there could be varieties that can only utilize energy from a mechanical electrical force like machines.

I use different electrical frequencies in my treatments (no morgellon patients seen yet). For instance, in auriculatherapy (treating the whole body thru the ear as a microsystem of the body). We measure by electrical impedence readings and treat by re-establishing proper frequency for the particular point we are looking at. A similar mechanism for acupuncture, mostly by unblocking and equalizing the energy in the body through meridians.
