Lots of people use the drugstore Iodine to paint with, including me. But NEVER consume it. Consume the Lugols! You can paint with the Lugols, but it could get to be more expensive and you have to delute it a lot. I put some on my face last night, deluted with essential oil, and it still burned bad enough that two hours later I wiped it off. I do take Lugols internally.
