I know exactly how you feel. I had the same symptoms and due to Irritable bowel syndrome which tore up my intestines, I can't take all that stuff that is supposed to help either. But...I did go on a diet which includes brown rice, banana, chicken, turkey, spinich, green beans, eggs, and all of the green veggies you want. It has taken a about a month, but it has helped. I also take a probiotic (Vinco's-you can order it online or from your drugstore) that does not seem to bother me. It did for the first three or four days, but I stuck with it and it is okay now. I also take mega vitamins-doctor said plenty of C, D, B Complex, Biotin, Zinc and Niacin. It will probably take me much longer to get rid of this stuff, but I don't have the horrible die off, sometimes just a day or two here and there where I don't feel so hot. Hope this helps.
