Re: crest whitestrips destroyed my teeth.legal & health help needed!
I am not a dentist (yet), but I am in dental school....
It sounds like you should go get a check up. With bleaching it is very common to have sensitivity. It will take a some time for this to go away. Sensodine toothpaste will help, but still won't be an instant fix. Try to avoid extreme hot or cold and sugary foods until you feel better.
As far as the cracks and white stripes-very common! The cracks could be from a number of sources, and without seeing your teeth & doing an exam, I worry a little about giving you advice...But, most often the lines are from previous decalcification of your enamel. Bleaching tends to bring the lines out. I have them and they get more obvious when I bleach, mine are from lack of strong hygiene when I was in braces, so around the edges of the brackets plaque accumulated and caused white spots. (It happens without braces, too)
The cracks are pretty normal, I don't know your age, but as we get older the damage to our teeth increases. If they are hairline then they are most likely stress fractures in you enamel. But, your comment about chipping off makes me worried-especially with out an exam/xrays. The whitestrips are fairly mild and therefore widely used~even many dental offices are now selling them. I have not heard of anyone having trauma like yours, so it would be best get to a dentist for a check up.
