yeah i guess i just use the term wheatgrass cause thats what ppl associate with juicing. however, if you notice, most wild grass when they go to seed develop a head that looks very similar to wheat. i am absolutely certain that the grasses i am juicing are indeed related to wheatgrass. most likely what we call wheatgrass is a hybridized version of what i harvest from the wild.
i use an omega for grass, and a breville for juices like apple carrot celery. i am very dissapointed in how the omega handles apples, mostly just makes a big muck inside and very little juice comes out, its mostly a waste of apples to it unless the apples are fresh picked and very crisp, then it works. but this time of year the apples of course are not fresh.
i would love to try out the stainless steel angel juicer. have you seen that? looks wonderful. i bet it does everything you need.
