"nonbelievers"

wombat, i recently had an interesting experience about those people who refuse to acknowledge that much of what we know as fact is instead propaganda and lies. when i first started my alternative health odyssey, i openly shared my successes with anyone i came across (silly me). one particular coworker simply refused to listen to what i said and would poo poo all my claims as old wives tales, snake oil, etc. i learn my lessons quickly so i never bothered with her again with my success stories and alternative treatments.

a couple months ago, i overheard her talking about colonics, that her mother had one and how great it was, that she felt more energized, etc. that's when i mentioned some other things (p&b shakes, mucoid plaque, the second mind, etc). we ended up having an hour long conversation about alternative health, sharing tips, info, and websites.

only a few years ago, this same woman insisted it was all silliness, now she's sharing tips and info with me!

just goes to show you that anyone CAN change. some people just take longer than others ;o) Tweet
