I am a person 'oozing' with compassion, 17975. You would not believe the hours
I spend each week, doing for others, taking food to the less fortunate. And not
just bagged groceries...but even going so far as to cook meals often and just take
them to someone in need. We even have a widow in our church that I even buy gas
for on occasion...because she has such a hard time. I could go on and on with
my stories. I have personally given hundreds of dollars to strangers because of
the kinds of local news stories we see on tv. So I'm not just a person that talks
the talk...but absolutely walks the walk and I feel so blessed that we're able to
do that.

I guess "I" took YOUR post so strongly because we've been astranged from our middle
son...now 37, and his wife and our 2 grandsons for 5 years, 2 months and 28 days.
We don't even know WHY they have broken ties with our whole family...with even
their brother and sister...aunts, grandparents, etc. EVERYONE!!! All we know is
that our daughter-in-law is very bashful. She's also a very jealous, bitter person
& she just doesn't like us. So he's been given an ultimatum. Prayer will turn this
around...but we're so anxious. We miss them so much...our grandsons have literally
grown up during this 5 years...they're teenagers now. And we don't even know them
anymore. So I guess I took your situation personally and was thinking how your
mom must surely be feeling.

You know, we can all give our opinions...but there are always 2 sides to every
story...and both sides can usually make 'their' side sound pretty good and right.
My husband has always said I could never have been a court 'judge'. Because I am
so bad about believing almost everything I'm told. We'll see these things on tv
where they're each telling their side of a story (crime programs) and I'll say, "Well HE makes sense"...and then the other side will tell 'their' story of
what happened...and I'll say..."Well THEY make sense TOO" :-)

Whatever the situation, I sincerely hope you work this out in a way that will be
pleasing to both of you. I really do!!!
