Every woman that I know of who has had her tubes tied has had really heavy painful long periods often starting at shorter intervals. That's the reason I never went with that option. I've had 4 kids and definitely don't want any more, but I'm going to have a break from all forms of contraception. I have the added bonus (if you can call it that) of not having a partner and not actually needing birth control at the moment though.

Why the hell aren't men taking some responsibility with this anyway. They think wearing a condom is uncomfortable - well at least they still get to have sex and don't bleed forever, and they don't end up psycho. I bet if women started saying no sex without a condom then men would soon realise that they can have sex wearing one after all. Sorry, I'm not a man hater, but I do think they should start taking some responsibility.
