thanks for the long post, i totally agree with everything you say about food combining, refined sugars, flour etc but i have to say fasting has worked for me aswell and ive never put it all and more back on, a third maybe due to not enough excercise and indulgence, but never equal or more. A friend of mine fasted for 3 months on juice and looked radient, skin glowing , lost weight too of cause and never looked back or regained, simularly people who go predominantly raw experience a simular transition. Basically everything you say is true but I think fasting can be helpful in cleansing and shifting unwanted extra pounds before settling down to a good clean everyday healthy diet. The cleanse gives you a new perspective making it easier to introduce and maintain the kind of daily diet you suggest. I love fasting, about twice a year, its a mental challenge as well as physical and there's lot to be gained from the discipline it takes as well.
