Skin yeast infections are among the toughest to fight. That's because yeast is "cell wall deficient", meaning that it can actually go into the skin cells where it can "hide out" until immunity is lower and it can break out and thrive again. Here is an article on yeast as being cell wall deficent:

Difulcan will help to overcome any infection you currently have, but you really need to find a new doctor who is more knowledgable about your health condition. Doctors exist, but you have to look for them. If one is ignorant, move on until you find one who will really work with you. Here is a webite that has a link contained in it to a medical organization called ACAM. If you go to ACAM's website and type in your zip code, you will find a list of doctors belonging to their organization with various specialties. Look for one with the designation, "YS" (yeast syndrome). Hopefully you will find a new doctor this way who knows more than your current doctor and can help you.

Other ideas are to get a lot of sun on the infected skin area and take detox baths with: (a) two cups of Epsom Salts with 1 cup of baking soda in the tub; or (2) two cups of Epsom Salts with a bottle of hydrogen peroxide in the bath. Ginger root added to the tub is also very healing.
