Re: Question for debate re: colonics & enemas

The human body is made up of mostly water, what could be more natural than cleansing with water. Medcur said that you do not get immediate results from a colonic (solids) as you do with an enema. Medcur is basing this on the one colonic she said she experienced. I have worked with people that are using home units to cleanse for 15 years, and I have been told of the most increadible results. In those 15 years I have never had anyone who actually took the cleansing seriously tell me that they found them to be ineffective. By seriously I mean taking a series of colonic, not just one. The only people who tell me that they felt they experienced no benefit are the ones that only do three or less.
I have a home colonic board and in doing 5-10 gallons, I have flushed out tons of solids many times. In fact the first portion, similar to the amount in an enema, of the cleanse usually alway produces quite a bit of solids. I would actually say the opposite of Medcur. If you are looking to cleanse the colon as a way of ending constipation I would say do a series of colonics. If you are looking just for temporary relief of constipation do an enema.

By no means is cleansing the colon with colonics a quick process. You say that you feel something slower would be better. I am not sure why you think you would need to go slower than with colonics, unless you are thinking that you only need one. Doing just one is not going to do much but temporarily relieve constipation. (although much more gentle temporary relief than laxitives)

My Grandfather was cronically constipated for 32 years. He used a home colonic board every day for 2 weeks, then every other day for 2 more weeks. He said that on about day 20 he had over 10 very large evacuations. Strange colors and smells he could not believe came from him, some that were much warmer than his body temperture. Since this time he clenses once every two weeks or so and no longer experiences any problems with constipation. Alternating between warm and cold water during a series colonic can actually give the colon a work out, resulting in better parastolic action.

Remember you have spent a life time getting to the condition you are in now. It is going to take a while to back. Any thing that claims it will quickly rid you of your symptoms just does not make sense to me.
