It's not just freedom that is made out of truth...
I expressed disagreement that we should not pursue the truth on behalf of the dead and the living. Admittedly, some of what I said was harsh, but it was not meant to be PERSONAL against you, it was in defense of TRUTH and everyone directly involved in the VT massacre (both the living and the dead). When I first saw the Police Cheif of VT making an announcement at a press release, his face showed that something was terribly wrong (I'm surprised they let him on TV for fear that he might blow it). It was the face of someone who has gone into shock because they have been so alienated and saddened that they are not being allowed to perform the duties of their OATH that they have dedicated their whole life and existence to (to him, his whole life and existence is now as a "non-person", but how many people are praying for him?).
It is not just for the Cheif and all the police who dedicate their lives for us that we must pursue the truth of what happened, neither is it only for the survivors and their families and friends,...it is that NOT pursuing the truth is tantamount to simply "discarding the dead" and not recognizing that they ever lived.
Wisdom is not simply admitting that you don't have all the answers, it is believing you don't (and pursuing answers).
It is wise to ask questions to pursue truth.
