Re: brand new here-weird question
Hi Trying,
I have an old friend who has been doing cleansing/detox stuff forever. He got his wisdoms taken out a couple of years ago and then had infected pockets, and his dentist recommended that he try xylitol after
Antibiotics had failed. It is a plaque-fighter, but it is also a powerful antibiotic. He ingests it and said that his first week of using it he had some powerful detox reactions, but no more symptoms of this infection -- swollen lymphs, head congestion, etc. -- that had been bothering him for some time -- so, just a thought. (While I believe that sometimes we need
Antibiotics -- especially if we have a serious infection and a toddler -- I also feel like there are other alternatives that doctors don't look at, and it sounds like xylitol is one of them.)
I have been using a mix of xylitol, baking soda, and
Sea Salt , for brushing my teeth, plus bar soap. My teeth feel really clean as a result. I am not sure about your oil "film" -- one thing that I have learned here (on this forum, where I have learned a lot about mouth/teeth health in general as well as related to OP!) is that the mouth is a very active place, so to speak -- the film might not be leftover oil (I pull with sunflower and safflower and have not had that happen) but it may be something your body is sending out of you, or making in response to the process. To me, it does not sound like a bad thing -- I would keep pulling and see how it goes for a couple of weeks, and then maybe switch oils.
I am BF'ing my twin 2-y.o.'s and have done several
Liver Flushes to no ill effect for them, for the record. Although I have really come to appreciate the value of taking these steps in order -- do the basic cleansing and get up and running before you do deeper stuff. I am still waiting for my daughters to stop BF so that I can do the
parasite cleanse -- as I shared in an earlier post, sometimes it feels like the Brestaurant will NEVER close!
I thought I was "That Kid" too! ;) The silver lining for me of not going to the dentist for several years while I was busy being up to no good is that I still have all my teeth and no root canals, which is more than I can say, sadly, for many of my friends.
Good luck and happy pulling -- I look forward to hearing about what happens with your mystery film!
