If so, then this means that the Weigert's formulation from Ricca is NOT necessarily 4.15 Iodine and definitely not 6.13 Potassium Iodine (the 6.3 is not even near 9 - 11) Possibly it may VARY in between their listed numbers at times.

If you bring it in the middle ground of the above, then that would be 5% Iodine and 10% Potassium Iodide, JUST like Lugol's.

At least this would be better than waiting and settling for half-strength JCrow's.
I would rather use THAT as a last resort.

Don't worry uniquity, I don't think you're misleading anyone. There are those that just for some reason choose not to lead those of us that are trying to learn. Hence all the mumbo jumbo. ;)
