I, too, wish to be cremated. For me, it's the money thing. Why spend all that money on a casket when I'm not there anyway.

I have wanted to be cremated for so many years. Twenty years ago, when my Grandmother was still living, I told her my wishes to be cremated. She was the original Southern Belle and the original Southern Baptist and she replied, "Oh no, you can't possibly do that, Paulette. Why, when the Lord comes back and blows his trumpet and all the dead in Christ rise up from their graves..........You won't be able to!"
