No, obviously this kid was not what they had in mind.

Well I am not saying he could have just walked around in broad daylight and killed 30 people with a knife but he could have possibly killed 30 people in a week at night, in dark corners, dorm rooms, etc. before getting caught or killing himself. Actually I'm not saying this is either possible or likely, I was really just trying to say there are a lot of different ways to kill numerous people.

While this VT thing was a tragedy, I would just like to point out that 1 million babies are aborted in America alone. I think that lends some perspective.
