Boozer, why here?

Boozer… not to throw a wet blanket on things here, but in your list of things you did at your brother’s house, the one that caught my attention was…

“Then when offered a drink, I accepted, which lead to about ten veyr strong mixed drinks”

That my friend may be a bigger problem than eating a few ribs or smoking a couple of cigarettes.

You came here, to an Alcoholics Anonymous site to tell that little story. Why? Why not tell it on a vegan site? Here is my guess as to why you are here. You have done this before, You have been offered a drink before and ended up drinking another ten. I suspect this sort of thing has happened more than once.

And you are scared and confused as to why a fairly level headed guy like yourself would go off the deep end so easily. You may even suspect that there is something wrong with you as it pertains to alcohol. When you drink, you tend to drink too much. Once you start, stopping just never seems like a good idea.

If that is the case, welcome to the club.

Again this is an AA site, along with your organic juice and oatmeal, try throwing a meeting into the mix. Tell those people your story of Bar B Q at your brother’s

Your friend on this long strange road trip to the good stuff,
Richard
