Re: Iodine/belly fat
Hey --
I have a friend who has myriad mental health problems and whose favorite drink is Mountain Dew. I mean, he drinks as much as he can get his hands on. He has also gained a lot of weight in the past several years (in part due to some psychiatric drugs, inactivity, bad eating in general -- but a lot of it, I would imagine, is bromine-induced from the MD). Also way prematurely graying hair.
I am so close to calling his parents/doctor and suggesting
Iodine therapy. The problem being that detox might really cause a lot of harm, too.
It's the belly fat thing that really strikes me, as it has always struck me as curious that some people really gain weight differently. If I gain, it is more all-over, but I do not eat bread/pasta and haven't for years and I have always wondered if that was a reason. now it looks like it is, although not becuase of the processed wheat, but because of the bromines.
Thanks,
Laura
