Since I fasted TOO LONG, and
depleted my glucose levels, I STAYED in ketosis! My tongue stayed white, the acid was working on my tongue via very acid and bitter saliva! (Remember, it started with waiting TOO LONG to break my fast! -
Therein lay the danger!) It created a chemical-
imbalance in my body!
I was having BM's like, every other hour!...and they smelled more like VOMIT than BMs! The acid was working on the small intestine...with a danger of killing my good intestinal flora!
Not a good situation at all, my friend.
I'm sticking to only alkalizing foods for the present (
via this chart) and I'm already feeling better. The bitter saliva is leaving, the tongue and gut have quit burning already, and I expect to do much better tomorrow. I'm correcting an imbalance.
Since I am not one to go to a medical doctor, I am NOT so willing to tell others on the fasting board to self-diagnose! THAT would not be very responsible of me, in my opinion.
However, I do know that alkalizing foods are better for you, simply by common sense...and the situation I find myself in.
I am glad I warned everyone WHY not to go too long.
The bottom line is, I told the truth about the glucose levels. The situation I am in, DOES start with the depletion of the body's natural glucose levels!
The situation can KILL you!
