Re: all this talk about herpes has me thinking about this cold sore i got.
Tina --
When I had my enormous canker/cold sore (it was on the underneath of my tongue -- about 1" long x 1/2" wide) a few weeks into OP and just after adding oil of oregano, I went to my doctor, who said "it's herpes -- I don't know why anyone bothers calling them canker sores anymore." So I think there is some confusion even in the medical world -- what I gathered from my research/experience was that canker sores are only on the inside of the mouth, whereas cold sores occur outside, but that they are all HSV-caused. (Apart from that sore, I don't have a history of canker sores, as many people do, or of cold sores.)
It may have been related to your cold or to the "oil change" you did. I am now not sure whether mine was related to OP itself or to the oregano oil -- I am sure it was related to one or the other or both.
I don't know whether this idea that oregano oil can force HPV or other viruses out of the system is true, or whether OP causes us to eliminate toxins and therefore depresses our immune system so that dormant stuff comes out...I am not clear on this stuff and of course nobody is, but if anyone wants to theorize on this, I am all ears! (Or, eyes... .)
Hope you all are well and happy pulling. A really sad day here in VA in the aftermath of the shootings at one of our state colleges...
