ive been putting iodine on it

as mentioned this is pretty much my first experience with a cold sore, so i have no idea how they usualy are.

this one is near the inside of my lower lip and i think is healing pretty fast.

i first felt it on friday night as i was going to bed.
saturday it was huge, around mid day i started putting Iodine on it and it came down.
sunday i put alot on it, every 3-4 hours. it really stings when you put it on!!!

today monday, its pretty much gone, 95% of the swelling is gone, no one can tell i have a cold sore today. i didnt put any Iodine on it today since i have to be around ppl.

how long is the usual life cycle of a cold sore? much longer then 3-4 days? Tweet
