Hair Loss

Ok I am sure some one has talked about this but there is so many messages I am going to ask again. I am 23 with no children and have major side effects with all form of birth control. Like:
Depo: Major weight gain, migraines, and no one told me to take calcium
the 3-4 years I was on it now I am afraid of bone problems.
Oral: All oral make me gain weight and experience nausea, vomiting,
headaches, yeast infections, and so forth.

Ring: I just couldn't use that thing.

So when I heard about the mirena I was sooooo excited. My doctor told me that there would be hardly any side effects because it was such a low does of hormones and that I would like the fact that I wouldn't have a period. So I got he mirena in January. Well about two to three weeks ago my hair started to fall out. I am chunks of long strand. I had really thick curly hair (so thick at times it was hard to comb through)and now it is extremly thin and very dry and brittle. I am a nursing student to I know its not hormones. I have already ran test and I am not under stress. Also I have been spelling keton in my urine (maybe sign of early diabetes). I did a little research on the actually clinical studies and any one with diabetes or pre disposition to diabetes should not get the mirean due to it effecting glucose tolerance. So I just want to know if any one has experienced this. If you want to read on the merina go to
