Thanks, I'll try some of things you recommend, if this doesn't work.
Another thought: A few weeks ago I read something on how common borax is used to treat fungal infections in trees. I couldn't find anything on human treatments, but I went ahead and tried it anyhow--on an Athlete's foot growth. Just dissolved 1/2 tsp in some water and applied it a few times per day. Wiped it out in a matter of days--quicker than the other OTC (canesten, micatin, etc) remedies. With these other remedies, it always returns in a month or two. We'll have to see how the borax works long-term.
I don't know how it would work on Candida.
