Day 7 is almost over for me, and it was an interesting day. I found myself fantasizing about pizza. But I took the time out to think about why I was thinking about the food, and the craving passed. I am actually brewing my evening lax tea right now. It's funny that you brought up the book "The Raw Food Detox Diet" because I actually bought that book yesterday. A friend recommended it, and after a little freebie reading of the first 2 chapters in Barnes & Noble, I decided to purchase it. I definitely recommend it, especially because the author prefers the realistic approach. I for one, love all the bad types of food. Chocolate topping the list. So, it will be a challenge after the cleanse, but I feel good knowing that if I could get through this cleanse, then that means I can conquer food cravings as they come and go in my life. I do love fruits and veggies, but I think that I have let myself succumb to high
Sugar foods, and I have developed a slight addiction. I'm the type to eat it all...the fruits, veggies, whole grains, and then foolishly top it off with brownies, ice cream, or a candy bar. So, we are both works in progress!!!
