Interesting. A few months ago Trapper said that it was OK to OP with Amalgam and I am asking him to weigh in here. Not because Trapper is the be-all end-all, but because I respect his opinion about both OP and Amalgam and I can't remember what he said then about why it was OK.

I have been pulling with Amalgam for several months. I would say that overall, I feel better than when I started. Vermicella's post about Acne and amalgam really hit home a few days ago because while I have seen a lot of improvement and *difference" in my skin since beginning OP, I do believe that no matter what else I do, I am going to do it on an amalgam plateau, so to speak -- the next level for me will be getting this metal outta my chompers (I do believe B2 and I will organize a trip to sunny Mexico to do it with a doctor there in a couple of years so y'all think about that now, y'hear?) (I am only half joking! I do hope to meet many of you some day! We won't get much talking done at an OP meeting, but...).

Also, I think there are other ways to deal with the amalgam that OP me draw out. Chelating with cilantro has been advocated. Certainly greens. (Mercola names one...chlorophyll?...can't quite remember -- probably from the mercury!) And now, Iodine therapy. Hop over there and check it out if you haven't already.

Anyway, some thoughts. The bottom line for me is feeling better vs. feeling worse, over the long haul. Getting through the past few months with no Depression and no nasal congestion is nothing short of a miracle for this believer...
