Re: What cleanse to start with? (I'm diabetic)
Kelley,
I really enjoyed speaking with you and Bob yesterday. You are both a wealth of knowledge! I thought of a few questions after our conversation:
1. Since Bob highly discourages distilled water, what is recommended when buying bottled water (spring, purified, or drinking water?)
2. We never got around to discussing the "balancing" to prevent food cravings that you mentioned in your email. What is that all about?
3. How do you view Splenda use? I avoid Aspartame, but use a lot of Splenda. I've read that it's not "natural", therefor bad, but I haven't seen anything that really convinces me of that. I also use stevia, but can't see myself switching to it exclusively unless absolutely necessary.
I did the Candida test that you sent me and came up with an (8), which is just below the level (9) that would qualify me as having a problem. The candida diet is pretty close to the low carb diet that I try to follow, and before becoming pregnant with my last child, followed consistently for a year and a half. So maybe that has helped it from getting out of control.
I'm on day 3 of my cleanse and am having no problems. I'm going to increase the colon cleanse to one full scoop (divided into two drinks) today then slowly add a bit more as the days go by. I feel really good about all of the positive changes that I'm making (the cleanses, getting serious about the low carbing again, and learning EFT). Now I just need to get back into the routine of daily exercise and I'll be in great shape before I know it!
Thanks so much for all your help!
Lisa
