Kelley,
I just sent the payment info to your email, so get that stuff in the mail fast!! (He!He!) I enjoyed looking at the info about you and your husband on the Detoxologie site. It's nice to be able to put a face with a name. I like the way the site is laid out (very clean and appealing) and the philosophy behind it. I respect the way you guys have taken his illness and used it as a positive instead of a negative. I know it was very devestating for me to get the diabetes diagnosis at 29. I wasn't considered overweight by my doctors and had only a week hereditary link (my grandfather got it in his 70's) so I was quite shocked. But it's forced me to pay closer attention to my diet and lifestyle thus giving me a better quality of life. All the women in my family are very overweight, and I'm sure I would have ended up the same if not for the diabetes. That's not to say I wouldn't love to get rid of it though! I'm really not expecting the Eleotin to do that, but in the past I have used herbs and acupuncture to prevent a hiddeous illness that I got during my 1st two pregnancies (obstetrical cholestasis- a liver disfunction that causes INTENSE and CONSTANT itching) from reacurring in my third pregnancy, even though I couldn't find any examples of this being possible. My doctor was amazed. So, that's why I'm willing to give it a try. There's another herbal mix (I think it's called Combetic) that I read about on the diabetes forum here that I might try if the Eleotin doesn't work for me. It doesn't claim to "cure" the disease but to control it effectively (along with diet & exercise). I would rather be on an herbal remedy than a pharmacutical one for the rest of my life. Enough about that! I need to stretch and get on my exercise bike while my little girl is taking her nap. I'll keep you posted on my progress and let me know what Bob says about zappers. I thought they might help with the cold viruses that are constantly going around my house.
