Yes that's the common explanation, or facts if you prefer, to leaky gut but generalizing is a sensitive spot on the intolerances since leaky gut as mine was caused by chronic celiac which i didn't know of before i began on the diet, it showed that i've had it all my life and celiac is very hazardous if left untreated.
