When candida began to proliferate inside me my hands and feet would be so cold you could be fooled that I had just stepped out of a freezer, they were nearly that cold.

You are correct in pointing out the correlation between the thyroid and candida, also most systemic candida issues are initially caused by the leaky gut.

The two most vital supplements for repairing leaky guy syndrome are L-Glutamine and Bovine Colostrum. L-Glutamine is a sweet tasting white amino acid and is excellent for repairing tissue. Bovine Colostrum contains many elements to rebuild the intestinal wall at a pretty fast rate and is quite simply a godsend.

I dont see the point in taking pro-biotics whilst hammering your body with anti-fungals, Colloidal Silver etc. I beleive the best aproach is to heal the intestinal wall, hammer your body with anti-fungals Colloidal Silver , oxygen therapy then when your candida has died off take very high doses of pro-biotics and come off the anti-fungals that can kill the pro-biotics. You must continue with a very low GL GI diet for ATLEAST 6 months after starting to take high dose pro-biotics.

Research colostrum, it really is a godsend from nature... Lactose intolerant can take it, however hyperthroid should avoid it.
