Even though once upon a time I was a public school teacher, I do NOT support public school education. It IS "a giant, greedy scam," a BIG business financed by taxpayers. Unfortunately, the lowest level, the teachers, are the ones blamed for all public education's woes. Cooperative home schooling offers a better option for the integrity of education and the family.
