Re: Does oil pulling help with mental disorders?

My almost 6 yr old daughter was dx with high-functioning autism. Not 100% sure of that dx.

Trying to get a 6-year old to OP probably would involve herculean effort and undue stress on the child. A path of least resistance may be to provide her with foods rich in EFAs which include Omega 3s and 6s.

Our yo-yoing Western diet (hydrogenated/ transfats, no/ low fats, GMO-altered fats, etc.) has caused real damage to our bodies and potential damage to our future generations. Super book to read is Fats That Heal Fats That Kill by Udo Erasmus.

There is a considerable amount of information on the Internet re improvement of Autism and other neurological disorders by the addition of essential fatty acids. Humans only need one of each kind of Omega. Wikipedia explains simply, "...Only one substance in each of these families is truly essential, as the body can convert one omega-3 to another omega-3, for example, but cannot create an omega-3 from scratch...."
