leaves growing out of my skin!

hi - i had a dream that i feel must be significant, but i'm not sure in what way! any ideas would be appreciated and helpful!

i looked down at my leg, and somewhere in the area of my knee, i saw a small plant with long thin leaves growing out of the skin. i wasn't upset, but figured i had to pull it out and was afraid it was going to really hurt. well, i pulled on the leaves, and they just slid right out, painlessly and easily - but i pulled and pulled and an entire root system came out after them! i remember just holding it up, looking at in and being amazed that that whole thing had been inside my leg.

so, one of my thoughts is that there's some issue i need to get to the root of, and that it won't be as hard or painful as i think it will be. any other ideas???
